After working many years for a large auto franchise Steve Matthews decided to open his own dealership. In 1994 he opened Matthews Motors in Clayton, NC with 3 cars and a boat. He has since grown that store to a state of the art 7000 square foot facility and 10 full service bays with a parts department. Matthews Motors is a Christian business that believes in the elementary value that people will respond best to being treated the way that we would want to be treated ourselves.
