John Thomas was born and raised in Goldsboro, NC, and graduated from the Therapeutic Massage program at Johnston Community College in September 2022. Before ever considering massage therapy as a career, he often helped his mom-a dance instructor-work out sore and tight muscles after long days of teaching. She noticed the positive results and occasionally suggested he pursue massage therapy, though he didn’t give it much thought at the time. Later, the idea resurfaced, and John began researching the profession, discovering the many ways massage therapy can improve quality of life. With a natural passion for one-on-one connection and helping others feel healthy and comfortable, he realized massage therapy wasn’t just a job-it was his calling.
